According to the materials selected, the filter cloth can be divided into PET, PP, PA, PVA, Nylon, Cotton, and Teflon. The filter cloth also can be divided into monofilament filter cloth, multifilament filter cloth, mono-multifilament filter cloth and Double Layer Weaving (DLW) filter cloth according to the weaving pattern. It also can be divide into long thread series and stamp thread series.

These products possess the properties of acid-resistance, alkali-resistance, small specific gravity, the melting point 142—146℃, and normal working temperature maximum 90℃. |

At present, we can produce polyvinyl alcohol staple fabrics only. The products possess the properties of alkali-resistance, high soften point （220—230℃）,small elongation, and good moisture absorption. They are mainly used for frame press filter.
